Usually this time of the year I am working hard in the studio getting ready for the art markets I currently am juried into.  Santa Fe Indian Market in August is a year long process.  Because of Covid-19 the 99th Santa Fe Indian Market has been pushed back a year to 2021.  For the first time in 28 years, summer will be mine.  The Artesian Arts Festival in Sulphur, Oklahoma has also been cancelled.  The Chickasaw Nation are wonderful hosts and I truly am going to miss being there this May.

After wandering back and forth to the studio for a month, I made up my mind to take this down time to recreate my website (pitifully lacking) and start with a fresh outlook and updated site.  It's also time to experiment on some of the projects I've had in my head and premier new pieces and fresh ideas.

Hopefully, fall will see the virus closures ending and I will be traveling to Northern Plains Indian Art Market in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in September and the Cherokee Art Market at Catoosa, Oklahoma in October.  I have been invited and agreed to participate in the Small Works Show at the Brinton Museum late fall near Sheridan, Wyoming.
